Order of Five
Order of Five is the game that started my journey as a game designer. The idea for a game like this popped up in my head and I called a friend to ask if he was interest to design this game with me. Together we, after quite a few attempts, created a playable version of the game. It is still a work in progress, but we already played some tournaments with friends which went good.
Order of Five is a 3D, turn-based 1v1 multiplayer strategy game where every action is governed by player skill and tactical foresight not chance. Players command a squad of five characters, each chosen from classic archetypes like Warrior, Wizard, Ranger and Assassin, led by one of four powerful leaders with an unique, game-changing ability. The goal: eliminate your opponent’s leader through smart positioning, resource management and ability mastery.
The game is designed from the ground up with no luck mechanics. Instead, Order of Five introduces a mid-match ability drafting system. Players start with a pool of possible abilities per character and can lock in only two during the game. This creates a living battlefield of counterplay, adaptation, synergy and layered decision-making.
